Nice turnaround attempt. You brought it up, so you show ME where I blamed republicans. Here, I'll post it again, as I did above. Get your glasses and re-read.
On the original topic - it is absolutely disgusting that millions of people who genuinely need help are used as pawns in some infantile pissing match. Fuck Boehner and his owners.
Where did I even mention the word republican, until you made a thinly-veiled accusation? Hmmmm???
Perhaps you, in your anti-Democrat fervor, interpreted "and his owners" as "republicans", but that's just not the case. That is a reference to the corporate overlords that own and control most in both parties. And, in the interest of full disclosure, although it's certainly no secret, I am a Democrat. Democratic Socialist, really, FAR more left-leaning than nearly all the DINOs in congress. And it's also no secret that I do hold a great disdain for many republicans now in power and the direction that party has/is going. However, that has nothing at all to do with the fact that you're wrong, and you put words in my mouth that I did not say.
Finally, perhaps you could enlighten me as to who is in charge of bringing this issue to the floor for a vote, if not Mr. Boehner, the Speaker of the House? Who else is to blame? I'm happy to call them a dick too. You know I like and respect you an awful lot Jack, but you are the one who brought the partisanship into this. I simply impugned a heartless prick who was/is playing politics with those suffering from something completely out of their control, for his own selfish political gain. Believe me, if it was anyone else in that position, I'd have the same thing to say.
