And the board signed me in under my old name. Weird.

So Andy and I splurged on an expensive mattress. I'm pretty damn cheap and almost never buy anything new but when it comes to sleeping...well...I think it's ok to be a bit indulgent.

Please note that we slept on my 10 year old pillow top for the duration of our relationship...it was coming undone at the seams. The mattress, not our relationship. It had a hole in the side so I could stick my hand in and feel the layers of springs. It also had terrible pressure points on my low back.

We went to the showroom and I already had the Icomfort in mind...memory foam with a cooling gel. Because this girl wakes up hot and sweaty.

It's literally like laying on a cool cloud of heaven. Everything I do from now on will be from this bed.

Need me? I'll be in bed.

I have a memory foam and I LOVE it. I too do everything in my bed. You will never be on time to work again.

Only thing is I can't keep sheets on it- I've tried everything- straps, deep fitting ones...they all slip.

For real though, I have a king sizes microfiber blanket I throw over it and tuck it in on the wall side- I can get that to stay on for three or four days.

Have you tried using chains? I mean they chafe a little more but the cold metal feels pretty nice....

heh, yes, my chains have a dual purpose, keeping the sheets on, keeping andy in line, etc.

mmm, unbroken chain being one of the accessories with my new bed...mmmm

stop turning this into an Land S party, this is only about comfort and how I will no longer be taking a spring in the can on a nightly basis. Hooray!
