2) Strangefolk Reunion at Higher Ground

After 106 Phish shows, it's safe to say, I'm a one guitar per band man.

- Colin Hay in Ridgefield ( Go see this guy if you get the chance)

(this is wicked hard except for my number one!)
hands down, number 1 is:
1. Neil Young and Crazy Horse in Boston
2. Jackie Greene in Pawtucket on Sandy eve (best all-around venue, company, atmosphere, show
3. Chris Robinson Brotherhood at the 'dise in Boston (SO good!
4. Phish in Worcester (hard time picking one show over the other, but i have to give the edge to the 2nd night
5. Mule at Mtn Jam (again, hard to pick, but i have to give the edge to night 2, even tho it was colder than a witches tit
Honorable mention goes to Ryan Montbleau Band, however, the 4 shows i have seen this month were ALL pretty freakin awesome, but the most memorable (for me) was the "Get Off" cover on Boston night 1 with a sit in by the opener, Mike Doughty...it was truly epic and once Carl hooks me up with copies i will be thrilled to listen to it over and over and over

12/29 was definitely my least favroite of the run It was still a decent show though.
I thought 12/29 and 12/30 were both pretty crappy. I really dug the Carini on 12/30 but that was the only thing I found to be really interesting from those two shows. Everything else was fairly standard or even below standard. Oh well. I still had fun.

and my honorable mention has to go to Cabinet who threw down HUGE at Mighty High Mountain Music Festival.
(thanks to the "new music that blew you away" thread for reminding me of this great set. i worked my bootie off that weekend feeding the talent and had forgotten how much i enjoyed Cabinet!)
