My friend from florida was coming up and she purchased the tickets from stubhub months ago. I vaguely remember the date 12/28/12 being mentioned but somewhere down the line we started saying the 29th. I was even looking for another 29th ticket for a friend (as I'm sure some of you saw)
So I drove to Rockland and planned to hang out with another friend , Barbara tonight. Barb and I finish eating a delicious meal when Christine sends me a text. A picture of the tix with an excited, I can't wait type of message. I zoomed in on the pic and saw the date.....12/28/12!!!!
By this time its going on 7:30. I keep calling and texting Christine with no answer. Finally she calls me back, mortified!!!she didn't realize, even when she took the picture that the tickets where for tonight's show. So I jump in the car, pick her up and we high-tail it to the city.
We made record time and no traffic and walked in the MSG at 9-ish and phish is playing Stash
They started late like 8:30 or something. Trey must have felt a disturbance in the force, us not being there and stalled as long as he could
It was an adventurous and stellar show and I'm glad I didn't show up tomorrow, in a snowstorm with last nights tickets
