I think the zombies in the barn are either their family or people that worked on the ranch and they might be experimenting with them (the old guy did say he's a veterinarian. I also think they put the zombie in the well and wanted to see what would happen if the travelers drank the water. Notice how she offered that water to them.

My guess is family. I thought the same with the well when they first saw the swimmer in it. The old vet is experimenting attempts to 'vaccinate' from small levels of exposure.

I finally got caught up to current episodes, so I can now read and post here
The show reminds me of LOST, same types of music/sounds when things happen. Supernatural stuff happening. A single group of survivors who meet and or fight with others while trying to survive from a large supernatural mystery/threat. The CDC building with one guy in it reminded me of the island hatch with brother justin in it. Not saying this to be critical, LOST was one of my all time favorite weekly shows, this show is my current favorite :zombie: I am still wondering about the guy and his son from the first couple episodes (no spoilers Josh
)
also, this show is predictable.

I didnt see it coming. Totally got me.
That said, I think this is where the group is going to split apart. There is no way that everyone should be regrouping after the way Shane acted (although in many ways i would take his side in the geek barn debate.)
During Hell on Wheels, the walking dead moment shows them all bickering over how the girl got in the barn and the old preachers quick answer is mad flimsy. Should be interesting to see how the next part of the season unfolds....
Hell on Wheels is still on thankfully.

I fell asleep, but Rich watched it without me. I ended up waking up at the exact moment Sophia stumbled out of the barn. Ratfarts!
I am going to watch the whole thing tonight after work.
I woke up at 3am this morning, and was all freaked out, because I had Sophia's eyes burned in my memory.

if the writers have any sense of detail or continuity, the preacher would have to be right about the walkers just being ill and somewhat right about his walker family still being people, and tested his theory when he found sophia alive and well. what walkers would just nibble on her neck a little and then let her be, allowing for her to be so high functioning and intact?

She could have been bitten while lost and escaped and later turned, was found and put in the geek barn. Hard to say without more detail of her affair. I doubt we will ever know how she turned. How she got in the barn however, will likely be revealed.

Hmmm......it would be great having a zombie kid.
Dont have to worry about them getting hurt, dont have to clothe them or send them to school.
Just toss them a live chicken every once and awhile and if your other kids dont listen just say.......do what your told or your sister will eat you.

They played the Sophia search up so much, I was sure that hillbilly would find her alive. Plus, I convinced myself the writers would want to keep two kids in the group a while longer as now it is down to Carl being the only kid around.
Shane is loosing it, but as the show mentions, you kind of have to be a bastard to survive the zombie apocalypse. The group should have already moved on to find another secluded farm house somewhere instead of Hershel's place (perhaps then they can move out of the RV and tents and into an actual house). While zombie-free, there are no defenses at the current farm, etc... to make it worth staying, and they are not allowed (at least up till now) to build any or even arm themselves. I know I'd want to be rocking a house like Charlton Heston in Omega Man!

I don't live in Northern Flori-DUH,,,
but we do tend to hang out around bonfires with homemade apple pie moonshine,,((none for me, wah!))
come to think of it,,we have another one planned for Dec. 30th for a birthday party for one of us,,
you should have seen the look on Mike's face when my friend Ash showed up. He said later "I didn't think black people could be rednecks"

i love daryl. he's been my favorite character all season.
mine too!
on the most recent Talking Dead episode he was on as a guest, but they hardly gave him any time...it was mainly the producer and the comic creator. I was kinda pissed.
