Points taken...btw you are all a bunch of hypocrites.do I really need to
Why not just report threads you honestly feel are not appropriate, rather than threads you may *think* others may find inappropriate.
Reporting threads to "make a point" is juvenile.
Reported thread e-mails go to multiple recipients, please do not abuse.
Crying Wolf takes away credibility.

But I have to say...(even cutting the dude some slack for being kinda tweeked by the apocalyptic zombie invasion/everyone he loves is missing or dead) the kinda dumbass who would ride a horse into a city potentially full of the undead isn't the kinda dumbass I don't expect to live long in an apocalyptic zombie invasion.
And for the love of Pete, don't ever drop your dufflebag full of shotguns in the midst of a zombie horde. That's like day one of Zombie Survival 101. TA's and adjuncts teach that class. Sheesh.
Diggin' it.

Welcome class, my name is Perfesser The Beek. Welcome to ZS 101. We'll get to attendance and the syllabus in a minute, but before we do, a little heads up.
50% of your final exam grade will be your answer to the following multiple choice question:
In a Zombie Apocalypse, where is there a safe haven?
a. A small town
b. A major city
c. there is no safe haven in a Zombie Apocalypse
The correct answer rhymes with "see."
Now, when I call your name, please say "here."

They kicked it up a notch this season. I predict no 3rd season. They are going to get killed off...def. interested in what the scientist told the sheriff
I think I MIGHT know from reading the comic books, but I wouldn't want to say it here and ruin the surprise....

Really bothers me that people are watching this thinking they're getting good advice for when the deal really goes down.
Have it your way. I'd rather be prepared via fiction than not be prepared at all. We have multiple escape routes and plans of action for if and when the shit goes down.

when the zombie apocalypse comes, i say we throw josh at the coming horde. there's plenty of him to go around, giving us enough time to make our own escapes.

actually, PA, the monsters in 28 days/weeks later WERE zombies, as the virus caused their temperatures to rise immensely, thus killing them. then they arise, dead, as zombies with rage.

I've got a zombie plan and a shit load of guns (and make your own ammo stuff, cause I'm rednecky like that)

No offense intended, but if you're thinking that the folks at Cheyenne Mountain offer any meaningful degree of safety, I have to question your level of training.
I wouldn't be looking to them at all, but NORAD being there means more of a military presence. Pike's Peak is right out my window at 14,000 feet. IMO, it's a great refuge. Excellent vantage points, and though zombies don't get winded, how many of them are going to march up 14,000 feet?

That'll help.

I'll grant you that. But...

All of 'em, if they know you're there. High ground is great until you run out of ammo.

Unless you have a well fortified structure with plenty of supplies...which Pike's Peak does. Besides, you can use things to push them off the sides of the mountain en masse.

And how, exactly, are you going to get to Vibes next year if you're surrounded on a mountaintop?
I'll be moving through the woods toward Seaside Park.
While there's no such thing as a safe haven, even walkers think twice about walking around Bridgeport at night. Plus, it'll take 'em a while to munch through the wook barricade I'll be stacking up.

1) If they are trying not to draw attention to themselves, why is that dude driving the loudest fucking chopper he can find?
2) What was the old man doing with the binoculars on top of the RV that he missed like a 100 zombies 5 car lengths away.
3) Is the black dude made of tissue paper? He scratched his arm and blood starts shooting out like a faucet.

I'll admit this show is enjoyable.. but definitely not quality.

All of that stuff is pure homage to Romero. Surprised you didn't pick up on it.

Would the zombies even recognize the wooks as not one of their own? Shit I could pass as a zombie half way through the weekend.
Honestly it wouldn't take me that long after I get there and get set up
