Anybody watch this series? I was pleasantly surprised to the point of wasting 1/2 of last sunday watching the entire 1st season. Looking forward to this coming back in the fall!

Yep looks to be early fall. Cant wait!

"Nearly a full year says the cable network. According to our friends at The Hollywood Reporter AMC will launch the new 13-episode second season next October. Why the long wait? According to the source the network was so pleased with this years AMC Fearfest the prelude to the TV series that it wants that momentum again. Fearfest took over October on AMC showing tons of the very best in horror cinema all leading up to promoting the start of THE WALKING DEAD."

Does the discussion of such an ultra Violent show belong in this forum? Someone who is unaware may check it out and become traumatized.

do I really need to :coffee: Why not just report threads you honestly feel are not appropriate, rather than threads you may *think* others may find inappropriate.

Reporting threads to "make a point" is juvenile.
Reported thread e-mails go to multiple recipients, please do not abuse.
Crying Wolf takes away credibility.

I was hiding under the blanket when the walker was on the Winnebago. Blech. Can you even imagine?! BLECHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I'm such a baby.

I watched Night of the Living Dead when I was little...like, 8 years old...and proceeded to rearrange my bedroom at 2 in the morning. Zombies scare me.

Yes, I know they aren't real. But, the idea of them, like, if it should happen and you actually had to deal with them? AHHHH!!!

This is precisely why the Founding Fathers enshrined to right to keep and bear arms in the Bill of Rights. :funny1:

And this is how a perfectly innocent thread ends up moved to P&R.

I'm training my kids in Zombie preparedness. The Winnebago part was fucked. The herd on the highway was classic Romero though, which I loved.

They came out of freakin' nowhere!

How did they figure out the little girl was under the car? Did she get out and there was a straggler there? And she went back under the car and the zombie followed?

I was probably too busy under my blanket.

Exactly my point. Romero zombies were confined to slow locomotion while the 28 Days Later ones were marathon runners. We're seeing a combination of both here.

How come these zombies don't smell blood? That was a great trick...throw some dead people on top of you and hope for the best!
