Between this, the Sunday Phish show, and hopefully the Friday Phish show (if a ticket comes thru), I should have quite a satifactory dose of space cadet music. LOL.

My friends never cease to amaze me with their complete inability to be on time and/or prepared for concertgoing.

You know the saying "The true definition of insanity is when you do the same thing over and over again, and expect different results!". Clearly, I'm the idiot here for buying them tickets over and over again, when I know the logistics of getting to each and every concert will turn into a high stress clusterfuck.

And could I ask what did your friend do. I've always known nokia to have tight security but as long as things aren't in obvious places pockets, side of shoes, smoikes it's a fairly easy processs

Just got back. I still don't know the whole story, we haven't heard from him since. Another guy that one of our friends knew got popped tonight for something similar (something in his pocket he shouldn't have had). He was processed in a small trailer, and sent on his way within 45 mins. The pother guy got back into the show. So I thought my friend would suffer the same fate. ??? No txt messages...no phone calls. ughhh.

A prior experience in NYC (Radio city Music Hall) had me tied up at the 34th precinct till 1:30am, and I missed a show over it. .

i had a 'damn barber is pretty good' moment for the first time ever. and ive been seeing them for 14 years.....i wish i could remember exactly when it was but i totally cant, it was the end of one of the sets on day 2 or 3 maybe it will be obvious when i relisten

I was psyched to see this set list roll in. not really my style biscuits, but looks quite dark for those that like it that way. Setting things up nicely for Fri/Sat/Mon so far.

Aside from all of the distractions, I still really enjoyed the show. I don't follow them enough to know any of their songs, but I still enjoy what they do. To me, the Disco Biscuits are what happens if Phish and Genesis mated. LOL. Thumbs up on the light show too.

My friend is still MIA. My other friend called several NYC precints around 3am, located him, but wasn't able to get too much info. But what we think we know: The reason he was being held longer than anyone else, is because it's not a first offense. And we also found out that since the precincts were so full, he ended up being moved to Sterling heights. But other than that, he has not replied to or initiated any contact.

Man, I feel so bad for him. What was supposed to be just a fun night out turned into a disaster. He will likely lose his job over this too.

There has been a strong police presence at the first two shows, according to some friends who were at them.
Two different kids I know were popped inside the 2nd show by undercovers, and others were pulled out of the line while being searched and handed over to uniformed police on duty.

Be careful and be smart, kids!!!!

enjoyed the shit out of nye set 2 after phish. dance party central. thought the 3rd set was ok but i thought i was still at phish for a little bit and would have prepared more dance extravaganza. the visual show was awesome, much better than phish. not sure why kuroda doesnt try to do something for the 80% of the audience that cant see his fucking lameass screens. for a creative guy he isnt very creative. his color combos are ugly, too. ok sorry for that rant haha

Great fucking run. They played the best they have since Holyoke 2010. Hopefully some more dates will be announced for 2013. I got my Hope, Fiddler, Magellan, Voices, Waves, Spectacle
