He was married to Bret Somers & got her on the show. He ended up not enjoying it & leaving after a while and she stayed on & became a regular & a fan favorite.

Little tidbit I read once. Can't swear that its true, think it was on a Match Game fan site.

We watched Jack on Match Game in lieu of The Christmas Story on Christmas morning.
