Standing rib roast
Mashed potato casserole
I'm responsible for dessert:
Red velvet petit fours
We've never really celebrated on Christmas Eve. Some last minute wrapping, followed by eggnog & Christmas music and watching the cat still trying to figure out why there's a tree in the living room.

Xmas day...we were going to do a standing rib roast, but when I tasted the Niman ranch applewood smoked ham...I quickly changed my mind. With that the redhead is making mashed potatoes, pineapples, carrots and mushrooms. Cheesquake for dessert.

Usually I really like cooking for these occasions but I'm so spent I'm perfectly happy to be fed by my parents this go round.
Up and cooking
Wow! that is dedication... I am sure everything will be amazing....as it always is when you cook.

I've been in the kitchen for 4 days straight...but today, I'm baking an Apple Crumble Pie for the dinner I'm headed to later tonight. And I'm also making these: (Pretzel snaps, hershey's kisses, 2 minites in an oven @ 350, remopve from heat, press top pretzel in place, cool...)
