I haven't been 'round these parts much lately, I do miss ya'll lots. This is what I've been keeping busy with amongst other things.
Last night we headlined the Westcott Theater in 'Cuse. If ya like it, go ahead and like it...hope to see lots boardie faces for Royal's b-day with Timbre Coup and Project Weather Machine at the Bayou Cafe in Albany!!

it was our best show we've played yet I believe. The snowstorm hurt us but we still did over 125, a blessing for a band that hasn't been around a year. The whole show was videotaped by a really cool fan who did all this out of the goodness of his heart, I'll post more as they're available.

This is a special one...the night before our gig we realized that Rick Gerken, father of Timbre Coup guitar player Dan Gerken, and Darryl Mattison, father of Project Weather Machine percussionist MIles Mattison, played together in a very popular regional classic rock band 35 years ago (Rick also played in a little band called Dickey Betts and Great Southern in the 80's and with this other fella, Warren Haynes quite a bit). So we surprised the old timers and got Rick and Darryl up there for this one and brought Dan up too, merging the generations. Brought a tear to my eye. I hope you enjoy it, I sure did. Music is an amazing bond.
