Jenny just posted this over on Facebook. I know not everyone from here is friends w/everyone there.

please send jay as many healing, loving vibes as you can muster. i found him unresponsive in bed yesterday morning and he's been in the hospital icu. an mri showed 2 small spots of swelling on his brain, but the doctors have yet to find what has caused them. this afternoon, he will be transported to yale, in hopes of finding more answers and putting him on the road to recovery. he's resting comfortably right now, in a medically induced sleep. i know in my heart that he's going to be ok, we're just at a point in the process that as has many questions as there are answers. i'm grateful for my incredible family and friends that have come through for him, me, and the girls during this hard time. just say a little prayer for him, please. ♥

I spoke with him on Saturday and he sounded fine. I'm kinda in shock right now.

he was fine when he went to sleep sunday night... up until a few hours ago, they were treating it as meningitis, as he had a fever of 103.7 yesterday morning, but the mri and spinal tap has shown that is in fact not the issue. all of his tox screens and blood tests have come back negative. slightly elevated white blood cells is the only thing they noticed.

he was unresponsive all day long yesterday. today, he'd open his eyes but not see, and sort of respond to commands like "wiggle your toes". he was very tense and frustrated and scared, but breathing just fine on his own. his family and i decided to put him on the breathing machine so we could put him to sleep long enough to get an mri. after the mri, his vitals were much less shaky, so we opted to keep him under for at least tonight. the doctors also recommended keeping him under tonight, especially since we're moving him over 30 minutes away.

right now, the doctor is saying "maybe he'll wake up and be fine and we'll never know what caused it." he just had an EEG, so they'll be reading the results shortly.
