I know what you're referring to and I'm guilty in spades. That was a one time occurrence where I was embroiled in a very dirty discourse with other factions. There was a clear reason and purpose behind my crude words. It was not on a daily basis solely for the purpose of sport. Yes, there is a difference.

when I talk about letting something affect you (in general)... I don't put a value judgment on it, it might not be right to be the one to change when someone else's shit gets to you, but when you can't change (or remove) the other person it leaves you no other choice
