As some of you may have heard, the Acoustic Cafe has recently found out that they have an old tax debt from previous owners that MUST be paid immediately. (its a long story, ive heard it all and its legit. Crummy, but legit.)

The bottom line is that its a huge nut for a small venue like this to be able to generate enough extra revenue to pay in a short time.

This venue has served for a place for acts like Kung Fu, The Step Kids, The Alternate Routes, even Ryan Montablue and MANY MORE to play when they were just getting started. A place where young talented mucisians can "cut thier teeth" as it were. Were music lovers can go 5 days a week and catch something magical in the making, night after night. As opposed to other bars, where you chance "just catching something" (eww.. i digress)

Any way - they are hosting a fundraiser on Sunday to help generate some funds to pay off this debt. Below are the event details. If you cant make it, can you please try and find it in your heart to donate even $5.00 to the cause via the Chip in link below. Every little bit will help. Dec 9th. 3-10pm @ Acoustic Cafe

The lineup includes a host of artists who have been favorites at the Acoustic Cafe over the years, including Darian Cunning, Rick Reyes, various members of The Stepkids and Kung Fu, and many more. Vega describes the lineup as “a lot of old friends of the Cafe,” adding “we’ve been really blessed to be surrounded by excellent performers and musicians. Luckily there are a lot of people that love the place and are willing to play.” In addition to short individual sets, Vega say
s to expect some once in a lifetime monster jam sessions, as well.

The price for admission will be $10, with the option to donate more and take home items such as t-shirts and stickers.
