Sheesh is anyone else having a harder time this year adjusting to the time change? I get home from work, have a snack, and then feel like it's time for bed.

Leaving work to darkness definitely drains any motivation I have to get anything done after work.

I've noticed you up very early.
 I'd be much more enthusiastic if I didn't feel so sleepy.

I'm limiting my alcohol intake to twice a month for the next few months. - Saving it for Kindbuds and Soulive. Trying to jump start my metabolism.

It's called "becoming ancient". Your ability to stay awake decreases proportionally with increase in age and is exacerbated by seasonal shifts in length of day. By the time you reach 65, you'll be lucky if you see a sunset in January ever again.
Though the upshot is that you are guaranteed to see every sunrise for the rest of your life.

about the time your kids quit waking you up real early all the time. you start waking up early for no reason. it's part of the aging process.
