this

I tried but couldn't remember when and with which albums I connected with going back 15-20 years.
There was definitely some Beatles, Allmans, Led Zeppelin, Stones, the Who and Jimi Hendrix in there, along with a lot of live Grateful Dead and Phish in the mix!!

I honestly couldn't name any specific albums that were important to me... I listen to too much music and honestly I listened to a lot of songs that weren't in an album format... plus all my high school albums are probably going to be Dave Matthews Band albums

I think albums stopped being important to me in college, in part because I was doing radio and was exposed to a lot of music. I also started college late and took longer than four years to finish college.

9th Grade: Emerson, Lake & Palmer - Welcome Back My Friends ...; Elton John - Tumbleweed Connection
10th Grade: Yes - The Yes Album; Renaissance - Ashes are Burning
11th Grade: The Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour; Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
12th Grade: Steely Dan - Aja; Mothers of Invention - Absolutely Free

Age 18: Mothers of Invention: Burnt Weenie Sandwich; Zappa - Roxy & Elsewhere
Age 19: The Who - Quadrophenia; Steely Dan - Katy Lied
Age 20: Elvis Costello - Armed Forces; Squeeze - Argybargy
Age 21: Frank Zappa - You Are What You Is

Our minds work in different ways, there is absolutely ZERO chance I could pin albums down to a particular year, how about just 5 or 6 from high school.

College was pretty much album-free, following the Dead around all the time and listening to bootlegs.

I just took stuff I know I like in High School and paired them off. Helped that I googled the release dates. College was shockingly still easy to remember.
