Looks like I'm on the verge of an Oingo Boingo binge. Any suggestions? Right now Only a Lad, Nothing to Fear and Dead Man's Party are in rotation. Am I missing anything?

Dead serious! I've always loved Danny Elfman's composed work.

actually YouTube'd them after seeing the thread... interesting stuff, not really up my alley personally but interesting... I guess they did the song weird science ? so I heard of them without ever knowing who they are... I knew they were 80s, new wave and totally not my style... but all is good... I'm not judging, just don't know :)

yup, well done... totally hate it

Just not ever been into music that sounds like that, I don't like any Grateful Dead music from the 80s pretty much either because of the heavy reliance on synthesizers and such... just doesn't do it for me

Liz and I hung out with their bassist John Avila while were in Louisville for a wedding. He was playing with Willie Waldman Project, which also had moe.'s Vinnie Amico on drums. Nice guy with some funny stories! Ridiculous bass player!

Their tunes are much harder to play correctly than you would think. Especially Dead Mans Party, really weird structure.

Gotta be on the ball to cover them well.
