That's a really good idea. How long was your hiring process, I wonder if it's too late.

I guess 2 weeks?
I went down there and filled out an application... A paper one, not one of those 3 hour bullshit internet things... And They set me right up with an interview 4 days later... then they sent me for a drvg test last saturday and I start tomorrow. Im not sure if they are still hiring... It may be too late for seasonal, but they did say they keep most of the seasonal. Give it a shot.

lol. Oh shit.. looking at the gull shit, I noticed the line of the parking spot... Now I get it.

Wit, I'm just thinking it's easy extra money. Even if I bring in $100 bucks a week, it's $400 a month. Whats the worst stress it will bring? Some bitch arguing about a price? I can handle that.

I might see if I can pick up a few overnight shifts at a group home or something- like you said- low stress, a little extra- and overnights wouldn't cut into evening time with the kids. I'm sure I can find relief or something at another agency...I'm just not getting the overtime I used to.

I thought about doing the group home/counselor thing. the money is def. better, but I just don't want the responsibility. I want to stand there like a robot, and just go .. beep.. beep.. beep... $34,75 please.... Thanks have a nice day.. next.... I don't want to deal with fuckin incident reports or clients disappearing, or staff not showing up so I'm stuck there in a snow storm, or.. or.. just growing attached to any more clients... Im drained as it is... lol.
Overnights are hard... staying awake sucks. maybe you can get one where your allowed to sleep.

So, Orientation was fun. LOngest 3 hours, Ever, but I got my hours for the next two weeks. This is totally do-able.

I did get reminded of how painful 20 yr old girls from Long Island are. So, So dumb.... but I can deal considering I wont have to talk to them much.

The conversation between these two girls while the HR person was out of the room, were just ridiculous...

"I'm surprised I passed the drug test"
"Yea, Me too.. I'm surprised anyone passes...Maybe they don't test for bud." (really? lol)

"omg, I love your nails! The first thing Im going to do with my paycheck, is to get mine done"
"Yea, Don't they look good? They're all my own with silicone on them. I spend $40 on them every two weeks, but I don't care.. They look awesome"

"OMG, I can't wait to get out of here. I really want to go to a bar tonight"
"yea, Me too. I'm soooo going out tonight"
"It's my friends 21st birthday, so were going to drink tequila all night!"
"Oh, I love Tequila! I lost my fake ID, but I don't care because I know all the bouncers at all the bars we go to"
"I hope I don't have to work tomorrow, I will totally be hungover"

:headbang:

I did "win" the trivia contest at the end of the orientation.... So excited about that!

The question was "What is Target's favorite saying" ... Two people guessed wrong, and I said "Can I help you find something?" Because it was in the freaking videos like 15 times... And I got a red t-shirt advertising the Target 5% discount with their credit card... lol. It's one more red shirt for me!!!! :)

Apparently they only hire people that fail. With the exception of the staff at the Apple stores most retail workers are a waste IMHO. Of course this excludes Nikkiblue cause she's a boardie.

I was a district manager for a large home improvement store years ago, most of the people over/under me sucked.....I prolly sucked as well...

Half is way too high, I'd say only 10% would fail......the rest would use (store bought urine)
