She's at the vet today, presumably getting treated for a parasite. Her third eyelid is out, she's lost a bunch of weight, acts like she's starving, and farts really bad.

Actually, that could describe me too.

Roundworms and protozoa. Now the vet wants to see Mittens too. This is why we can't have nice things! I'm going to have to build a vestibule on the door so we can keep the cats in. They were never supposed to go outside, but once they got a taste, they started bolting every time they saw an open door.

She was not a happy camper last night. She got a distemper shot on top of all the other indignities.

Mittens is going in today. Boy, is he in for a surprise.

All liquid. I can dose Ginger without too much of a struggle, but I have to wrap Mittens in a towel.

Never again will they be allowed out of the house to enjoy a reign of terror in the neighborhood. Their months-long killing spree cost us almost $1,000 to cleanse them of the roundworms and highly motile spirochetes they ingested.

Yeah and to watch them hunt is priecless! I watched Tiger leap and take out a bluejay a few years back. He jumped into it from the top of the shed. Up here in Maine its healthy for them to hunt-thank goddess! :ZA: :bresse:
