So the Holiday Inn is sold out, and I am looking at either the Best Western in Fairfield or the Ramada in Stratford. They both cost about the same and are about the same distance from the venue, in google-minutes. Any reason I should lean one way or the other? Thanks!

Last year there was a shuttle that went to Ramada. I don't think one went to BW. BUT, no info has come down as to whether shuttle to hotels other than Holiday Inn will be happening. Last year they announced in January.
That being said, you prolly could save a few bucks per night by using price line. In 2009 I bid $42.00/nite, and got it.

we stayed at the Stratford Ramada last year. Nice enough hotel, a bit run down, not as nice as the Holiday Inn, but much cheaper. Also has an indoor pool (much bigger than the tiny one at the Holiday Inn.) There's a "continental" breakfast included. The location is in an industrial park, right at the exit ramp of I-95.

I have always headed North on 95. The Comfort Suites just a few exits away is the BEST by far (but is about $100/night). Next in quality is the SpingHill suites another exit or 2 up 95. Those two are the best in the area; but they do cost.

Thanks everyone.. I ended up reserving rooms at the Ramada, not sure if I will use them or not but a shuttle would help if so!

i can't remember all the hotels last year. but they might not be the same hotels as this year anyway.
