We all know that marijuana was legalized here. Does the governor have to ratify to make it official, or is it something that is colloquially understood once the people vote "yes". Is there a grey area period between now and then?

Hahah, I know this one all too well from being in CA but I'm sure it varies by state. They have to write procedures to implement the new law and that can take up to a year. There could also be court challenges that delay things.
