Awful question from an obvious non-parent

My question is this...
Is it harder for parents to love an ugly child?
Now, before the anger and hate starts, I do realize this is an awful question. And, I also have to say that I have never seen a picture of an ugly boardie kid, so I don't know if anyone will be able to answer with experience...OR want to admit they think their kid is less than attractive...
But I'm going to ask the question anyway...

I dunno...just the thought, I suppose, of a parent not loving their child as much because they're hideous is kind of awful, I think. As TEO points out, beauty comes from within...I don't understand what is awful about the question, it's just life. But I'm ineligible to vote in this poll because I have no idea. If I ever had a daughter though, I'd hope she wasn't totally gorgeous.
now though, I'm wondering if parents can love evil children. I read recently that Dylan Klebold's mother, as she was hearing reports about the shootings at Columbine and hearing that her son was one of the shooters, was praying that he killed himself in the school...did she stop loving him at that point??

First of all ALL BABIES ARE BEAUTIFUL. This has been well documented using the Universal Baby Scale of Beauty & Handsomeness. The scale rates little ones from Drop Dead Gorgeous/Handsome to Hideously Not Beautiful. You just need to see where your bundle of joy belongs on the scale. The bottom line is All Babies Are Beautiful.
