Honestly I'd rather watch paint dry than watch the shows on Food Network besides DDD. Come to think of it, that's the only Food net show I watch.

There's still a few that are fun. But if you want a good laugh, check out "Bar Rescue" on Spike TV. Same concept as Restaurant Impossible and Restaurant Stakeout, but they focus on turning around bars. The host is a riot... he's got permanent whiskey face and looks like he's spent more time sitting at a bar than doing anything else in his life. And some of the places he visits.. well... let's just say the entertainment value is priceless at times.

I had Mr. Food for a book signing when I managed the Waldenbooks in Crossgates Mall back in...ummm....geez.... '91??? Real nice guy - still have the signed cookbook and make the 'baked party dip' quite often.
