So I quit smoking back in November and now I am planning on starting P90x on Monday to get myself back into shape!!!

Has anyone on here tried or had any experience with P90x???
Or have any tips??

I think TasB does P90X. HappieCamper was starting Power 90.

Are you in shape? If not Power90 might be a better start.

That shit is tough!! I was into it at the gym a few weeks ago and got through the core, kenpo, and part of the cardio before it stopped working.

That core workout is tough and left me sore for days!!

How's it going for you dancingbears?

Awesome! My husband did it and really liked it. He plans to start again. I did it for a week. I now try to do the Power90 workouts a couple times a week along with other workouts.

Started it again yesterday. The only advise I have is inorder to get the results you desire, you've got to bring it. Also, definitely get the results/recovery drink mix. It will save you on getting through the first month alone.
Drink lots of water....

Oh, also I have an excell spreadsheet that breaks it all down by workout, day/week for you to fill out as you go if you'd like it. PM for that. :v:

One more thing. Depending on your size/weight. I cut the recovery drink amount to 1 scoop rather than the recommended 2. I think 2 is over kill. 1 offers the essentials I crave after a hard workout and you can get almost 2 months out of a jug vs. one.

The pull ups in P90X are murder if you've never done them in the past like I did. Know your limitations and work into it slowly so you don't pull any muscles. I've been doing it for a few weeks now and I'm already starting to see results. Keep at it!!
