I had a rare "I feel old" moment today. I worked today. Several people lamented at work about working on a holiday. I thought about it and realized that today was the 17th Thanksgiving in a row I've worked. Every year since 1996.

17 years in a row is a long time for anything.

It's a good bet I'll be working it again next year. When I finally break free from the shackles of restaurant life and get to enjoy a Thanksgiving again with family, I'm guessing it becomes my favorite holiday.

Its been down hill since 30 for me.. But now that I am 38 I think I hit a new plateau (I hope )

So, it's hit me as of late.... I'm getting old(er)

I went to a bar Friday night and would have preferred to have been home, reading in bed. I can't sleep though the night without needing to pee. I need glasses to help me read. And I'm now using one of those bags on wheels to cart my school materials around campus.
