RECALL NOTICE
EU2000i Portable Generators
FUEL TUBE LEAK
Check below to see if your generator is affected by this recall.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled generator and contact
a Honda Power Equipment dealer to have it inspected/repaired free of charge.
What is the problem?
A tube clamp that connects a fuel tube to the bottom of the fuel tank may have been improperly positioned
during assembly, and use of the generator may cause the clamp to wear a hole into an adjacent fuel tube. If the fuel tube is worn sufficiently, gasoline and gasoline vapors may leak out and a fire or explosion could occur.
What should you do?
Stop using any generator within the affected serial number range until it has been repaired. Please contact a
servicing Honda Power Equipment dealer to make an appointment to have your generator inspected and if
necessary repaired, free of charge. If you need assistance locating a servicing dealer, please visit our website:
