Just saw a little feeding session. A second eagle came in, hung for a few moments, then the nesting one got up to show the newborn (and feed it) and the two remaining eggs

There's going to be some fierce competition for food, once they can hold their heads up.

i don't think that nest is ever without at least one carcass in it, so at least one of the parents is an excellent hunter. they had 3 dead things in it the other day in fact.

Yeah, that's one of the fascinating things about watching this a few times a day. All manners of carcasses.

he switched between the 2 cameras he's got up there. the "better" cam is all blurry right now

I notice the nest is left empty now for short periods of time. I'm sure someone is nearby, but it's interesting indeed
