What Bible Christians believe about homosexuality by the Rev. Canon. John Heidt, D. Phil (Oxon) • July 2005
Is there any real difference between a man having bacon for breakfast and having sex with another man the night before – or a woman with another woman? The ancient Jews thought not. Both broke the law of God and incurred His wrath, even to the point of death.
But today Christians eat bacon with impunity. Why then not accept homosexuality as well? What can possibly be the difference between the two?

An older man, near the end of his life, once shared with me that, if given the chance, the only thing he would have done differently would be to have “had more sex and more bacon.”
I have plenty of sex and want to have plenty more
which is why I don't eat bacon

well unfortunately I only the taste of women and bacon so I could not answer this without all the facts to tell the difference...
but for a 2/3's of an answer...bacon and women both taste great so perhaps there is no difference

"I must admit," responded the Rabbi, "I was always very very curious about how pork belly tastes, so once, just once, I stopped at a bar-be-que restaurant when I was on a vacation and ate a pork belly sandwich. In fact, it was so delicious, I ate four of them, knowing I'd never have the nerve to sin again like that."
The Catholic joined in, "Well, I had the same curiosity about sex, and that being forbidden, I didn't know which sex would appeal to me more, so I once, while in seminary, had a sixteen-year-old girl and her brother at the same time. I was so overcome with feelings of guilt that I've never done anything like that again. Well, what about you, Pastor Bob?"
The Methodist said, "My besetting sin is GOSSIP, and I just can't wait to tell everybody in town what you guys have said!"

A Catholic priest, a Rabbi, and a Methodist minister were discussing sin, and the Methodist asked, "Tell me, guys, have you ever sinned and broken the laws of your religion?"

The rabbi said, "I must tell the truth. Yes, I have, on the odd occasion."
Then the Rabbi had his turn of interrogation. He asked, "Your religion, too... I know you're suposed to be celibate, but...?"
The priest replied, "Yes, I know what you're going to ask. I have succumbed once or twice."
There was silence for a while. Then the Rabbi peeped around the newspaper he was reading and said, "Better than pork belly, isn't it?"

I'll take bacon and love on the inside (and I was actually a lot thinner, had lower colesterol and felt a whole lot healtier when things like pork belly were my predominant foods., though the love of my life doesn't care either way

i have to trim one, then i'll loose some water weight on the 1/2 that will get a dry cure.
will throw the rib ends from the trim into some tomatoes and cook them in the crock pot for Sunday Gravey.
do i get fresh cheese ravioli or make stuffed shells to go with that ?

kind of sad that one's need for sex is dependent on shallow things like looks on the outside rather than love on the inside

I like to give the love of my life the best me I can - in all aspects of life

Healthy Bacon Recipes

- Preheat the oven to 400° and line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Arrange the bacon on the foil and bake for about 15 minutes, until crispy. Drain the bacon and cut in half.
- Meanwhile, put the flour, egg mixture and cornmeal in 3 shallow bowls. Season the cornmeal generously with salt and pepper. Dip the tomato slices in the flour, then in the egg and finally in the cornmeal, pressing to help it adhere. Transfer the slices to a wax paper–lined platter.
- In a very large skillet, heat 1/4 inch of canola oil until shimmering. Add the tomatoes and cook over moderately high heat, turning once, until golden and crisp, 5 minutes. Drain the tomatoes on paper towels.
- Lay 4 slices of toast on a work surface and lightly spread with mayonnaise. Top with the green tomatoes, bacon and arugula. Close the sandwiches, cut in half and serve.
