Creit to Chris for pointing this out to me last night. Probably one of the worst and most hilarious restaurant reviews I've ever read all in one neat little package.

A couple of co-workers were talking about the article this morning, and one of them mentioned they had read something online where Guy claims the bad review was a personal attack based on past history with the reviewer. I haven't had a chance to give a Fark to research it.

"And when we hear the words Donkey Sauce, which part of the donkey are we supposed to think about?

Is the entire restaurant a very expensive piece of conceptual art? Is the shapeless, structureless baked alaska that droops and slumps and collapses while you eat it, or don’t eat it, supposed to be a representation in sugar and eggs of the experience of going insane?"

Things I have learned:

if a critic likes it and raves about it, it probably sucks (esp. movies)

if a critic hates it, I want to try it

I'd re-think that logic this time. We're talking about Guy Fieri. Seriously... when you hear the phrase "donkey sauce," what do you think of??"

Said no Tim the Beek, ever.

SD, this is where I reiterate my "anti condiment" stance, lol

I don't like ANY sauce hardly at all.

Except for the ginger salad dressing at the Japanese place, which I could eat plain, with a spoon.

You live in a state where Denny's is considered a hot night on the town.

Times Square is like Disney; if you're going there expecting great, reasonably priced food, you're going to be disappointed. That said, I bet he makes some major $$ off the Times Sq. tourists

Oh... he'll make bank, no question. That's the whole point of most of the restaurants in Times Square...they're tourist traps. You rarely see locals in any of them, its all families in town on vacation. And amazingly, they're always packed.

But man... that review was over the top. I was laughing my ass off reading it.

Speaking of Denny's, if you want some lulz, search "Denny's fight" in Youtube. And get comfortable.
