Something I've been thinking about since election night...
The boardie bill of rights says thou shall not discuss things that are illegal on the boards. Since Amendment 64 has passed, can I speak freely, or do you wish for me to respect everyone who doesn't live in CO or WA... I'm not asking to be an asshole, I'd just love to speak freely on subjects I've been prohibited from speaking on before...and I'm not sure about how y'all feel this should be handled. Thanks.

That boardie "Bill of Rights" is a joke.
We have no "rights" here other than the ability to post something. It basically says we're going to do what we want with your posts and if you don't like it that's tough shit, there's nothing you can do about it.
VIVA LA REVOLUCION!!!

Understood, but the state in which I live has legalized. Are you saying the board wouldn't recognize a gay union that took place in Maine because federal law trumped it?
In my opinion, this is an absurd argument. What do you mean 'recognize'?
Regarding your original question in this thread, do you really think that because you live in a legalized state that there would be different set of rules for you on this board? Really?

I have no problem not being cool, which I figure is blatantly obvious.
Why be cool when you can be awesome?!?!
Something which apparently I think I am, based on FB posts I don't recall making over the weekend...after I let a sneaky kitten use my account to "look at stuff."

Which all but confirms that the Bill of Rights is a joke. It's pretty much only used as an excuse for moving threads some may not agree with. It says nothing about allowing posts that talk about things you "could be arrested for" at Vibes or anyplace else. It clearly states posts that discuss topics that are illegal will be removed.if you smoke pot at vibes, you could very well be arrested. if you get married at vibes, you will not. so i'm thinking that this is probably the bottom line.
"...posts that are violent in nature or discuss topics that are illegal will be removed."
