Makes me wish I had taken pictures of the first boardies I met. They all came and stayed at my place for an AOD show at the old Higher Ground. Flip, Hemptress, Sirckus, Creekfreek and Chinacatsue. What a blast that night was!! I remember coming back at 1-2am and blasting P-funk at an ungodly level. Good times!!!

Gram, the girl you're half-remembering is Jamie (Happy Camper), and yes, that's JCS next to Joker. Later that night we all went out to a bar and Courtney (Miss Sugaree) got kicked out because she was like 15 and JCS got in trouble for not leaving with her and going back to the motel because he was putting the mack on her.

Gram, the girl you're half-remembering is Jamie (Happy Camper), and yes, that's JCS next to Joker. Later that night we all went out to a bar and Courtney (Miss Sugaree) got kicked out because she was like 15 and JCS got in trouble for not leaving with her and going back to the motel because he was putting the mack on her.
I made it through the door for like 10 minutes and then was booted. Let me tell you, that was a hard night to wait around for people to come back to the hotel that night!

I've been photoshopped in on Pat's arm, by the way. By this time of the evening I was passed out in Wende's car. Wende put me there. I needed to be put there. This was at Cafe Arabica, a hookah bar, and I brought in a magnum of pinot grigiot, which I managed to drink most of during the first set. By setbreak, I was 4 sheets to the wind, and by the end of setbreak, I was hanging from a light pole.
