We were just getting warmed up and the show was over. Most Red Square headlners play that long just as the 1st of 2 sents.

The opening band, Oobleck was very good and wil be the band that is remembered from that evening.

Glad I skipped it. Sorry they played so short. I've been on spending lockdown.

Same shit when they played SF. Very happy I got in for free or I would have been upset. Phone-in show too, not the Big Sam's of 2 years ago.

Bromberg was most enjoyable, as was the opener Mike & Ruthy.
It ended a little before 11, then we sashayed on down to Red Square.

First, we started out with a drive west on Madison passing the park where I was fondly reminiscing about the previous time I was in that park on the north side of the street and how it was over-run with hippies.
Then we took a drive east on Madison back to the river, and then another trip west on Madison, passing the same park again.

For some reason Red Square seems to be having things end earlier then in the past, maybe trying to prepare for the possible new curfew. The last two headliners I have seen there. Higher Organix and Biodiesel both only played one set and were over earlier then I expected.

The City of Albany is attempting to enact new laws banning all live music band or DJ after 2 AM on weekends and I think 11 on weeknights. Also no one under 21 allowed in a venue after 11. There has been a ton of pushback hopefully it won't go through.

It's midnight on weeknights, which is still close enough when you're talking about such a shitty law!!

I would have been happy with gram man's burned potatoes.
I should have ordered them crispy-well-done like I usually do.

Guess we'll try the Gateway Diner next time.

Order them up crispy-well-done next time. The cafe is dfefinitely worthy of another shot. Besides the wait which isn't always bad, and their potatoes, it's the best breakfast in Albany!

Besides the wait which isn't always bad, and their potatoes, and the lack of serious horseradish in the Bloodys...

But I'm sure we'll give it another try.

The Circle Diner in Latham is worth the trip from anywhere in the Albatoga region. Although if I were in Glens Falls, I'd stay local and enjoy Lox Of Bagels.
