I learned some really shitty news this morning. My mother, who's had cancer in the past (but was in remission), had some testing done today (bladder-related). It was determined that she has bladder cancer, & will be having sugery in a couple of weeks (Jan. 26th) to have the walnut-sized tumor removed.

What I would like to request is healing/strength vibes to be sent her way, & to please keep her in your thoughts & prayers.

I don't have an overwhelming sense of doom; so I have an inkling that she'll be ok. But, needless to say, I am quite angry at this whole "cancer" shit.

First off, let me say a big THANK YOU to everyone that's either viewed this message, the below link:http://www.gathering...read.php?t=3197 or viewed & posted a response. I sincerely appreciate it, & the well-wishes too.

Mom's surgery went well Monday. She was able to come home Tuesday morning, & has been recovering quite well. Her dr. thinks he removed all of the tumor, & has sent multiple biopsies out to the lab; which the results, of course, won't be back for a week or so. Let's keep our fingers crossed...

Oh, & still a big Fuck You to Cancer, the fucking shitheel of the world.

So, remember my Mom's Aunt that died right before Xmas of breast cancer?

Well, now my Mom's favorite cousin, Debbie, is dying. She had been in remission for 4 years from her breast cancer. About 4 weeks ago, she started vomiting, and thought she had the stomach bug that was going around. Well, when it lasted more than 4 days, she went to the Dr. She has stomach cancer now :-(
