It's not prejudice to judge someone after hearing what they have to say. That's postjudice, and is unavoidable (in my opinion).
It's when you judge someone before knowing their character (pre-judging) that makes you prejudice. Pre-judge -- prejudice -- ya get it?
Not knowing the difference between prejudice and postjudice is one example of what makes you ignorant, or uneducated... take your pick.
Arrogance and ego are what make you feel like I just insulted you, when actually I was just declaring my observations. Now, I wouldn't say that ignorant, uneducated people are evil. However, it's not a great combination when mixed with arrogance and ego. That's how wars begin. Just add guns.
