I dont understand why people cant just laugh at people that havent progressed enough to strike ignorant slurs from their speech. They are clearly beneath me.

I just want to say I cant stop laughing about the line "Deep Thoughts with Hoagie".
Not a cut on hoagie. It just cracks me up.
Sounds like meditation with lunch.

It's not prejudice to judge someone after hearing what they have to say. That's postjudice, and is unavoidable (in my opinion).

It's when you judge someone before knowing their character (pre-judging) that makes you prejudice. Pre-judge -- prejudice -- ya get it?

Not knowing the difference between prejudice and postjudice is one example of what makes you ignorant, or uneducated... take your pick.

Arrogance and ego are what make you feel like I just insulted you, when actually I was just declaring my observations. Now, I wouldn't say that ignorant, uneducated people are evil. However, it's not a great combination when mixed with arrogance and ego. That's how wars begin. Just add guns.

this recording is of Lee Atwater explaining the Republican strategy (use of code words) to gain the racist vote without sounding racist (from 1981).
