So turbo kickboxing is my favorite thing. Like ever. This week I'll pick up some lightweights cause I've built up enough to get through, keep it moving, and feel like i could challenge my upper body a bit more. I am constantly amazed at how clean shaven and brawn my instructor's calves are...I often wonder while jabbing if his lover does that for him...he must...I certainly would. anyway. I love my gym, This is fun. This week I pick up weights and fucking work on my left upper cut, it's the one spot I feel like a pussy. Okay not the one spot, but the primary spot. Got nothing there. I mean I could throw left elbow, but it just isn't the same.
Anyhoo. Doctor told me I'm anemic. I blame china. Hoping the supplements help but I know for sure juicing before the workout is giving me energy that I was lacking before.

I am on strictly cardio and legwork at this point....have tedonitis in my right arm for weeks now and the only way to heal it is to stop using it.
Do you think of me every time you do a squat?

I'm trying to work my triceps so they look like yours someday. ![]()

just getting back into the swing of things these last few weeks after falling way off the wagon for a lil while ![]()
even managed to gain about 6 lbs since the holdays ![]()
focusing on biking & swimming with some strength training thrown in for good measure.
working within a set schedule helps me maintain consistency & the best way for me to do that is to wake up at the ass crack of dawn to get in a workout
(except strength training which i always do in the evening)
swam 1850 yards this morning. the 5:15am wake-up is rough some times, but sooooo worth it when watching the sun rise while swimming laps alongside only ONE other person. no crowds of lolchildren or lololdpeople pissing me off. what a fantastic way to start the day ![]()

Good work Jen- the way you describe swimming in the mornings sounds like a wonderful was to start the day. ![]()
I've been keeping up with my regular routine- my not having to write it down each time feels like it's becoming more a habit now which is good. A couple of new classes to replace the instructor that left, and it's really fun. I can't believe how much more stamina I have from a year ago- I'm looking for more intensity now rather than just trying to make it through. It's awesome. Can't wait til the ground is less mushy so I can do more of my walks up Blue Hills. Really looking forward to doing more walking with my clients.
