I need more hikes. it's just so freaking cold and shitty all the time! I'm trying to do these classes but I just don't feel as strong as I should and lack energy to work as hard as I want. grrrrr.
Anyway, yesterday I worked on thighs thighs thighs oh those are nasty exercises, glutes, abs, biceps and triceps.

Thanks IASW, working on it. I'm going to try to be more conscientious about eating before working out, I don't think I'm getting adequate nutrients and energy in the afternoon and then wait until after I work out for dinner. Need to add some more fruit to the afternoon I think.

Abs and cardio. Okay it's only been twice that I tried it,but I think the fruit really helps. I didn't feel like dying tonight, so I'm calling it effective. Cardio step- it's so hard!
I do okay until the 30 minute mark and then I start freaking out that it's only half way through and how the hell am I going to get through another 30 minutes so I majorly slow it down and start to half ass it...Next week I'm going to try to really crank it up from 30 to 40 minutes and then if I bog out who cares, at least I worked at that higher intensity for a bit. Definitely doing the fruit thing again.

Well that's more like it! I kicked ass tonight and had the energy to really give it my all and get through pretty much all of the exercises. Even went up in weights. Pears! Who knew!?
Cardio, abs, omg obliques, biceps, triceps, shoulders, fucking lunges I hate lunges but I did them all!

I didn't want to overdo it today but wanted to do something so I went to a yoga class at the gym for the first time. Well that was interesting. I looked for what the name of the pose was and can't find it but there was one where your arms are all twisted through your legs and then you hold your hands behind you back. I have to lose a little more of the spare tire so my hands will reach around.
Anyway, it was okay, but Ill probably just stick to cardio and weights for now.

Well that was a pretty lame 2 weeks. Reason #157 to workout regularly- When you return to the gym it's even more of a bitch than if you just kept going all along. So really- regular workouts are just easier.
Pretty bummed tonight, my very most favorite instructor is moving out of state so I only have like maybe 6 weeks with her left. So bummed, I look most forward to seeing her as almost anything in my whole week.
Tonight- glutes and a little arms and abs but I was totally lame. many more cookies and Christmas shit food to work off.

Turbo kickboxing and ridiculous ab workout tonight. It's a keeper.
Man they have weight lifting classes down to exactly 3 times a week and two of them are at 6:30am.
But I don't want to do it by myself! :stompsfeet: I just won't push as hard as having someone yell at me over and over "And Again! And do it again! "
Anyone done kettlebell? Does it work? It looks gimmicky.
