You can also make one. Takes about 20 minutes. Buy 11.5 feet of PVC tubing from your local hardware store, preferably over an inch wide in diameter. Buy a connector for the tube, stick them together. You may want to use a pop rivet gun or two small screws to hold them together.

To decorate, use electrical tape. You can YouTube it to find out how its done. In my opinion, this is the most difficult part, but they make great home made gifts.

If you are going to make and tape your own hoop I highly suggest gaffer tape, especially for beginners. It helps the hoop grip to you, using just electrical tape makes it slippery and harder to control.

hey Wende - i m going to check out your link, thank you & congrats on baby, btw, i m brandy new to hooping, meaning i've tried some1 else's hoop but do not have 1 of my own yet. i want to get 1 b4 the vibes to practice a bit & to have 1 for the festi Can you make a recommendation on which type of hoop is best for a beginner? there is a wealth of info out there & i would appreciate a bit of direction. of course, i want an LED hoop, but wonder if this is good place to start? maybe a reg hoop 1st and then, an LED hoop? anyway, i will ck out your site -

To whomever said they are making hoops I will check out ur link but do you make polypro?

To the original poster- as someone who has purchased the infinity hoop by body hoops I really do not reccomend it. While it is awesome to be able to bring it around easily, the hoop itself is quite heavy and now that I'm actually getting into doing some real tricks it is almost impossible to practice with my infinity.

Good luck with your search for the perfect hoop- it is quite the journey!

I have someone from here that WILL be at Vibes, that will be bringing them with them to save on shipping costs.

$20 hoops.

Polypro and HDPE will be part of my hoop stock within the next month.

STill shopping for tubing. But I think I have found the right supplier. Fun. I love my Polypro hoop.
