[Billy Jack]

On February 16th I started at Springer mtn in GA. On the way a posted my progress a few time. I even made a stop at the Vibes to see you folks. October 9th I summited Mt. Katahdin in ME. I completed the entire 2184 miles of trail. I will try to get a picture posted soon. Thank you all for your love and support.

Congratulations, man! When TEO first posted the news on the board, I didn't realize that it was you. Then Kathi showed me the same picture from Facebook and confirmed it. How life-changing was it?

I was a little surprised that I didn't hear from you when you were in the area. The trail passes within ten miles of the house. I heard that you were behind schedule, so I don't blame you for pushing through to the end when you hit northern New England.

Sorry I didn't stop by. Ill have to make it up to you guys with a visit. The trip was everything I wanted it to be and a lot more. Ill be glad to share some goodtimes and stories.

Did you by chance run into Hungus and his now fiance' Pace? Good friends of mine, who just completed the AT this season. they left GA a little later than you though...I think they started in march 15th or so.

from one thru hiker to another - congrats. your life will never be the same having that wonderful experience to relate / flashback to whenever you need it. Now begins the adjustment period... LOL holding your bladder / bowels, not gorging when you get to a restaurant, not mice proofing your food wherever you go, running water !
