Let me just say.... Our local radio station is AWESOME...and what they did, kinda just makes them more awesome!!

gov't mule is playing out here at the Westhampton Beach theater... Ive still never been there, but they have great shows.

So, last thursday Morning, they were giving tickets away for the show that *I think* is actually tonight...

Of course, I called in. And after many tries of the phone just ringing, and ringing... the DJ picked up...

I was like a little shocked that he picked up, cuz I was calling, hanging up, calling, hanging up... ring.. ring.. ring.....

anyway... the first thing the DJ says is ...Hello... WEHM, How are you today?

**so excited he picked up* Im like "Hellllooooo!!! OMG! Did I win???"

And he says... "What do you mean? why are you calling?" lol. .


so.. I freeze up... and I hesitate ... Um.. "I was hoping I won Gov't Mule tickets!!!"

And he says .... "OK.. Tell me how they spell Government" so... Im like "G.O.V.'T"

And he says... "I dunno.. my producer is sitting right next to me and she is shaking her head NO..."

I'm like "what do you mean??? Please? I love Gov't Mule!!!" And he says "sorry... She's saying no.. "

After begging him for like another minute... He was like "sorry.. we'll be giving more tickets out in the 10:00 hour.. try again" lol..

Im SOOO Pissed I hesitated!!!!! :headbang"

So, yesterday, they had Warren call in for an interview, and this morning they had Adam whatshisname from Counting Crows, who is apparently playing tonight on LI too!!!! Yay! What a lucky DJ...

and to be fair.. Im really not this HUGE Mule fan... lol... I love warren, and I love the allmans, but, I dont know all THAT much Mule... lol... I guess they were able to read it. Grrr... They better have given those tickets to someone who really, really loves them.. lol.
