UM had to go from Port Chester to Rochester overnight. Eek.

The whole second set was off the hook. Dump City had a fully-articulated "It's About Time."

I can't afford (read, won't pay) what the Beacon is charging for this show, so I signed up to work the Providence show. Who's going?

I may be going to Providence. We shall see how money is after New Years run.

I may have a gig on the 5th, which would give me the extra scratch for the Beacon show. I'm still not keen on paying Ticketbastard $13.50 on top of a $29 ticket.

Umphrey's will also be playing the Brooklyn Bowl on Sunday, the 20th.  Tickets go on sale tomorrow at noon EST.

I heard the Beacon show was a rager. They threw down last night in a (relatively) small and (very) crowded place in Providence, and I'm raging couch tour tonight from the Brooklyn Bowl.

I was worried that they would phone it in for Providence, but they don't roll that way. Nasty Dump City in the first set, Pink Floyd covers to open the second set, and some sick playing from Joel in Sociable Jimmy > Visions, and a monster Higgins to close.

A+. Would listen again.

They should have played "Bob" at the Brooklyn Bowl, but stopping the tune as if the power had gone out was funny!
