just do the math
how much money have you saved already?!?!?!
never mind your lungs clearing out and you not having stinky hair/clothes and being more kissable
just sayin...its important to be kissable!
keep it up, man...you are over the hump and although i cant promise that your craving will abate completely, would you ever want to have to go through the initial quitting part again? no, right? you got this!

I am going out for the first time, this weekend, since I quit. I canceled going to the post show party at my friends' Shannon and Kurt's as they smoke in their place. Not ready to be around that. Kia is in charge of helping to keep me in line at the biodiesel show.

Best advise I recieved, is that its like a wave...can't fight it, gotta just breathe while you ride it out

very proud. want to quit and procrastinating it.
My hospital shifts I don't smoke for ten hours straight and I rarely even think about having one during my shift. That first butt when my shift is over is pretty epic though.
We all need to quit. I have visions of camp hidey at Wormtown and literally 9 out of 10 of us is sitting around laughing and smoking cigs until 5 in the morning. pretty gross on all of us and considering we're all getting lolfuckingold and losing the odds with our health as the days go on, time for all of us to stop.
glad you're taking charge brother.

I always said I'd quit by 30 too. I'm 37 now. I quit for 3 months at 34, but have been a heavy smoker outside of that all of my thirties. So clearly an epic fail on my part. I'm going to feel like a real asshole if I wake up at 40 and I'm still a smoker. So fucking stupid. It's like I'm playing Russian Roulette with getting lung cancer. It's pretty rare, but I've x-ray'd patients at the hospital as young as 44 who have lung cancer from smoking. Time for me and everyone I love to stop. Glad you're taking the lead greg.
I need to follow you right soon

Thanks all. Mentally preparing myself for Saturday and the first time going out. I got this.
One trick I used when going out or driving was to keep something (like a lighter) in my hand, sometimes holding it like a butt.
also replaced cigg smoke with alternative smokables when cravings got bad
Nicotine is a bitch
