this is what I heard about the place...
STAGE 48, located in Hell’s Kitchen, NY is a multi -use venue that will host Concerts, Night Life Events, and Private/Corporate Events. Built in the 1950s as a horse stable , the building has been completely remodeled utilizing the beauty of the old industrial architecture and incorporating complimentary modern elements to create an ambience that currently does not exist in any NYC venue. A large horseshoe balcony overlooks the main floor providing excellent site-lines of the 34 foot wide stage. Several elevated VIP areas are located on both floors and a state of the art Sound, Lighting and Video system will ensure an experience like none other.

The photos on there FB page look kind of cheesy. But hey a new venue is a new venue. I like checking out new places to see music.
They're pretty low quality computer renderings. Which actually makes me wonder where the "in construction" photos are if they're actually opening in a month??

due to opening delays Kimock was moved to Sat 2/23.
Dumpstafunk is still scheduled for NYE after shows.
Kimock event has become a fundraiser.
show time 7:00PM - 1AM
He is also sitting in w/ Hot Tuna for the Beacon shows.
Does he live in NYC ?
