I find the Jagger/Bowie Dancing in the Street video to be nearly piss your pants funny, every time I see it.

and I've seen two great tunes covered by huge pop acts which made me cringe hard: Smooth Criminal and Ladies Night.

But my mind is like a sieve when it comes to huge pop acts. . . I can't really distinguish one from another so I forget the bands that committed these egregious offenses. New Kids on the Block maybe?

And I put Green Day in that category too. . . Green Day can suck my brown poop.

The 77 Dead Dancins are my favorite versions of that song, hands down. No other version has the get up and dance than Jerry and the Boys (and Donna Jean)

unfortunately I have the VH version in my head each time the song is mentioned...maybe "baaaaaaad" is too strong a word for GD versions but it's not mi favorito...I wouldn't react to Dancin' the sameway as I would eternity...that'd be leaving my seat and going for a stroll for that one.
