i lost count somewhere, but i think the final number is between 50 + 60 items dyed last weekend.
now the waiting, then the untieing and the laundry. with any luck i'll be done by Friday happy hour.
a lot are already spoken for, but i'll list the extras once i sort things out.

hugh check mark on the list now that this is almost done.
now if i could only stop adding things to the damn list i might get somewhere.

where - who knows, but there wouldn't be a list waiting for me when i get back.

Yup - you can schedule your bonfire appearances years in advance, except when the full moon falls on a Wednesday.
Then it's the host's choice.

picked up a couple of packs NB,3-6,6-9,9-12 and random kid size t-shirts and $1.00 adult l/s over the weekend.

target date for this batch is 3/19,  looks like i got some laundry to do.

2/25 - washed and ready to tie

3/10 - started tieing

October seems like such a long time ago.

Feck,

with a storm coming in the next day or so, have you ever done snow dyeing?

that was pretty cool, but i don't think we had enough for more than  a few shirts here this winter.

i want to look at some of the other ones too, always interested in new ways of doing things.

i was reading one where they used chem lab pippets to drip patterns

these are nice, but with 50 or 60 small pieces to dye at a time, it could really take me a long time.

i might take one of the l/s adult shirts this time, or do a few one offs but we'll have to see.

i'm already 5 months late with this batch.

all of those n/b + 3-6mos will have to go to other kids than they were planned for in the first place.

including the soak, about 3 hours, but part of that was mixing the dyes.

if they come out nice they will get donated to the Jammin for Brianne event.

new tieing patterns, so you never know.

the kid and baby clothes take much less time

ok, i will know by Thursday night, but  not until then.

bed sheets for me, or some more tapestries for the Vibes.

for some reason i had the fundraiser on 4/6, so i'll have time to adjust and make a new set if they don't.

How long will that take?

50-60 shirts, mostly kids size, a couple of nights or one good weekend

i've found it's easier for me to tie them all , then dye them all vs tie & dye each one separate.

i might forget a tieing pattern or 4, but they always turn out OK.

OK enought to be given away.

the more i have finished on the same day, the less i spend on rewashing them a couple of times.

sale @ Blick on Pericon dyes until May 9th

they are usually 15% off list, but you can get another 20% off and free shipping if you order over $79.00 of stuff from them.

code is on the website, but it's CDFS if you cant find it

http://www.dickblick.com/stores/

don't waste any money on the soda ash, just get some A&H Super Washing Soda from the grocery store instead
