Great debate! Brilliant. Stewart is the smartest, wittiest guy ever, and even though I am at polar opposite to O'Reilly's point of veiw, I have to admire his sense of humor.

That is true. I don't. I'd prefer to see it done honestly through those that actually have the ability to shape policy though. Instead of a scripted "we decide what we can be asked, how it is asked and who is going to ask it." charade we call GE presidential candidate debate.

A John Stewart vs. Bill O'Really? debate on US issues is about as noteworthy as one between me and peacefrog. it's a fun distraction. it's fun if you like one of the two involved, but in no way is it really worth anything in my view.

All that said, I'm probably going to watch it when time permits.
