with the George Soros funded "Media Matters" in the effort to control news coverage. As evidenced by the mainstream media's coverage of Mitt Romney during the recent tragedy in Libya, any semblance of mainstream media objectivity has been erased.
Fortunately, many sources outside the United States are actually paying attention - and one of those news sources is the Daily Caller, who has previously done a series on Matters.

"Eric Holder's communications staff has collaborated with the left-wing advocacy group Media Matters for America in an attempt to quell news stories about scandals plaguing Holder and America's top law enforcement agency."
The cozy collaboration makes this quote by President Obama seem hollow: "Let me say it as simply as I can: transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency."
The revealing emails showing this
were given to the Daily Caller as a result of a Freedom of Information Act Request. Some of the "damage control" attempted by the Department of Justice included media coverage of the New Black Panther Party intimidation scandal, and coverage related to "Fast and Furious".
How is this any different from blatant propaganda? The idea of a
being in bed with a media outlet which deciminates information to the public is repulsive. No wonder Americans no longer trust the mainstream media. Or the Government.
