You are not buying into the national media, who is calling for a Super Bowl run for the eagles.
7-8-1 would have Andy Reid fired per the owner's recent comments.
It'd be about time in my opinion... always thought he was an overrated coach when I lived down there, although I don't know much/anything about football so you can probably take my opinion with a grain of salt

Another year like last year, and Lurie will make a change.

Well you can't lock out the players and referees every year to raise profits.

While there is some truth here, that is not the whole story. Not many Eagle fans are complaining at all.
Why?
Because the Eagles have the 11th highest ticket prices in the league, and the cheapest tickets in the NFC East. So when you take it all into account, this is not a big deal, and Eagle fans are not that upset.
From the article:
An average Eagles home ticket is still the least expensive in the NFC East and in the middle third of the NFL, according to the release.
Jet fans should be upset. They have the highest tickets in the league.

Team Ticket price
Jets $117.94
Patriots $117.84
Giants $111.69
Bears $110.91
Cowboys $110.70
...
Eagles $105.00
