Local news in CT... A tornado watch has been issued for Fairfield, Hartford, Litchfield, Middlesex, and New Haven counties until 9 p.m. tonight. Meteorologist Mike Cameron is in the early warning forecast center monitoring the situation. Stay with Eyewitness News for any updates throughout the day.

Rockland county seems to have dodged the bullet. The NY/CT border is the focus. I'm listening to CBS 880.

Rockland is indestructible !!! I'm in between Waterbury and Hartford Ct and its windy as hell. Keeps alternating between dark and stormy and bright and sunny....pretty rapidly changing. Weird weather :undecided:

I ain't no meteorologist but on the radar it looks like the cell responsible for the tornado warning for northern central Connecticut has weakened and is no longer a threat... definitely listen to the pros on this one though

Hoping so! The sky just got real ominous. Bright blue with puffy clouds and the under cloud layer is VERY dark and closing in. Pretty cool actually!

Yes it does! The boyfriend of the previous owner brought it back from Germany (where he is from and currently is). His family member is a bell caster for the churches out there and this one had a slight flaw so it couldn't be used. They wrapped it in blankets and stuffed it into a trash can and checked it as baggage.

 Yes! There is an actual law on the books about ringing it. That was fun to monitor when friends and I dragged a mini keg and some champagne up there. They were SO bad!
