I think it would be a complete waste of headlining money.

I wouldn't call the Peas rap. Their radio hits are pop, but the band as a whole is definitely alternative, underground, unique and exciting new music with a range of style talents. Plus they're loads of good vibe and fun (fits in). They rocked Madison Square Garden down to the rubble. I think they'd be great in the Primus slot.

Oh. The Black Eyed Peas would rock vibes!

As for the D, comdy is ok but does it really fit at vibes? People couldn't even get with Roseanne and I thought every word was outrageously hilarious.

i actually didnt even consider them for the main stage
i was thinking side stage all the way
those who love them could catch them and those who dont get them could go rage elsewhere :D

but i dont think they would be booked, so its all a moot point i think

Tenacious D is a bigger draw than any act that was at Vibes this year, I doubt they'd be on the side stage.

I think Tenacious D would be awesome in Primus's spot. Have the dead stuff friday, the D on Saturday and the folky shit sunday. The D would be more entertaining than seeing primus play the same set they played 2 years ago.

I would rather hear Les Claypool taking a runny shit than listen to the Black Eyed Peas.
