OK, so the Buds will be going on at 9pm. If folks want to come and pre-party with me on the deck at my house (overlooking the lake no-less), they are more than welcome - just pm me and we can discuss details.
The KB's have cleared me to do an hour opening set if I want, but I haven't decided if I want to deal with gear and such or just PAAAARRRRTTTTY!!!

We're seeing the Buds the next day 8/26 at GrateDeadFest at the Warwick Valley Winery... and if all goes as planned hoping to catch the other dead bands there on Saturday also.

Not quite sure why that photo is up there - it's hardly representative of the crowd. The Pub is a Roadhouse for sure - weekdays it caters to the locals as a post-work watering hole, and weekends brings a vareity of people such as myself. Roy, the owner, is a big Deadhead, and works hard to have live music on the weekends. I play there the 2nd Friday of the month, and very often we'll schedule nights for just the local Northern Columbia County musicians to get together and jam. If fact last Friday was awesome - a guitar, banjo, and mandolin player joined me and we had a blast.
Now that I think about it, I believe that pic was from the crowd he would get with the Sat. night DJ - but that experiment failed as it brought a less than desirable element around.
